Print Coupon -- Offer Ends 02/25/11
Developed by a bio-chemist from the UCLA medical center, this wrap process was originally formulated to encourage circulatory and lymphatic flow in patients. It was meant for those suffering from diabetes or any disease that inhibited circulation, especially in the lower extremities. Research showed that because of this increased flow of both the lymphatic and the circulatory systems, the patient also was experiencing cleansing of the tissues. This, in turn, caused healthy inchloss through internal cleansing.
Not only did the body benefit internally, but the external benefits of contouring and inch loss made this wrap ideal for the spa industry as well as the medical profession. Inch loss, diminishing of cellulite, and body contouring can be permanent and completely safe.
Advanced Wellness Lymphatic Body Wrap Benefits
- Lose up to 1/2 dress or pant size with each wrap.
- Provides cellulite reduction through detoxifying body cleansing.
- Benefits are immediate and the inch loss is real.
- Addresses the real causes of cellulite in a holistic way.
- Warm, luxurious, pampering and comfortable.
- Not a water loss – skin and body stay hydrated.
- Inch loss is permanent.
- Sanitary.
- Provides results with in-spa treatment as well as home care treatments to maximize benefits.
A series of 3 to 6 body wraps is recommended There should be 4 to 7 days between each wrap. If a client is overweight and on a weight loss program, a wrap is suggested for each 5 to 10 pounds lost.
Guarantee of 4 to 14 inches in 1 hour. This is not a weight loss, but a permanent inch loss. The inches will only return if the client goes back to old habits. Eating the right types of foods, proper exercise, and drinking 8 glasses of water per day are always recommended.

What is Cellulite?
Okay, I'm going to broach the subject in writing, not on video... What is cellulite? Well, we all know that it's not pretty. Yuck! Cellulite is that gross bumpy fat that dwells on the thighs, butt and tummy, but what IS it? That's what I found out at the Advanced Wellness Center last week when I got my full body wrap. I lost 12 inches!!! Now I'm telling you about it.
Cellulite is lumps of fat deposits resembling cottage cheese that occurs in 90% of women. It is thought to be caused by a variety of things, such as hormones, heredity, gender, race, poor lymphatic circulation and stress.
Cellulite can be described as uneven pockets of fat, water and wastes trapped in the connective tissue of the body, just below the surface of the skin. Some major contributing factors to cellulite formation is toxic accumulation of fluid and poor circulation.
Studies of cellulite found the biggest contributor toward a cellulite condition was poor blood circulation. However, toxic accumulation and fluid retention are major contributing factors in the formation of cellulite. Loss of blood flow to an area, whether from lack of exercise, excessive sitting, clogged arteries, or nutrient deficiency, can have a disastrous impact on cellulite formation.
According to cellulite experts, cellulite generally accumulates in areas with poor circulation, and as a result, the toxins and waste materials get more clogged and harder to remove. The amount of damage that inhibited blood and lymph flow can do in fragile connective tissue cannot be calculated, but every system of the body is adversely affected when cleansing systems are reduced or blocked.
The Lymphatic Body Wrap at the Advanced Wellness Center can help increase circulation throughout your body and flush your lymphatic system to help decrease the effects of cellulite and cause you to lose inches around your arms, stomach, hips, thighs and calves.

- Cellulite is not fat, but rather a toxic body condition combined with edema and a lack of circulation.
- A person does not have to be overweight to have cellulite – thin people are also affected.
- Cellulite does not respond to normal weight loss and exercise programs.
- 8 out of 10 women have cellulite, as well as many men.

Shiny Hair Secrets
Shiny hair is captivating because it makes people want to touch it. How do you get your hair to shine for the world to see?
Hair is shine comes from the reflection of light off of the hair's cuticle. Smoothing this cuticle is done in a variety of ways for beautiful shine. Check out these tips!
Improve the condition of your hair.
If your hair is damaged, it will appear dull and feel brittle. If your hair is damaged, improving its condition is the only way to get it to shine.
Use conditioning treatment.
Invest in a high-quality conditioning treatment to repair damaged hair and obtain the shine you crave. Use this deep conditioner once per week.
Wash your hair less often.
Washing your hair too much robs your hair of its natural oils needed to make it shine.
Use an occasional clarifying treatment.
Product build-up on the hair can cause it to appear dull. Use a clarifying shampoo to remove build-up once per month.
Blast wet hair with cold water.
Get the ultimate shine by blasting your hair with cold water just after washing and conditioning it. This process helps seal the conditioner and the cuticle.
Blow dry hair with natural bristle brush.
The natural bristle round brush helps smooth out the hair cuticle and tame static. Blow dry 2 inch pieces of hair wrapped around the round brush to get curly hair straight. Point the hair dryer straight down the hair shaft for best results. After drying each section, blast it with cold air to seal the cuticle.
Use blow dryers and straightening irons.
While these tools ultimately damage your hair, using them correctly will give you the temporary appearance of shine which may be a worthy price to pay. Use the heat from these tools to smooth out the cuticle of your hair. Put the blow-dryer on high and use the straightening iron on the ends.
Use finishing product.
Use finishing products on your hair such as a frizz-taming hair serum or finishing shine spray. Don't apply these products to your roots or your hair will look oily. Also, don't apply a ton of oil before using the straightening iron, because this can actually cook the hair.
Try natural remedies.
Here are a few natural remedies I found on the beauty.iloveindia blog.
- Use Strawberry hair mask: mash eight strawberries with one-tablespoon mayonnaise. Massage this into washed but damp hair. Cover it with a shower cap and then a warm towel. Wash out with a shampoo and then condition. This mask will give your hair a rich gloss.
- For blonde hair use a few tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water. This will make your hair shiny.
- For brown and red hair add a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your rinse water.
- For shiny hair you can also mix one teaspoon of honey into 4 cups of warm water. After shampooing, pour the mixture through your hair, but do not rinse. Dry as normal.
- 1 egg, 1 tsp honey, 2 tbsp olive oil - Beat the egg into the honey then beat in the oil. Shampoo hair, rinse, then apply mixture to hair and scalp. Massage for 5 minutes, then rinse well.

The Hunt for a Hot Pink Ball Gown
I've decided to attend the Mardi Gras Ball hosted by the Sterling Society this year at the Crown Plaza Hotel in North Dallas. Going to these events, mind you, takes a lot of work. You need to be prepared with all your beauty ducks-in-a-row. This means taking time to plan, set and attend beauty appointments and locate the perfect dress. I have my work cut out for me!
I'm not a huge ball-goer, but have recently decided to get out-and-about more, so looks like I'm in for a crash course in how to get all dolled up in one week. Today is Tuesday, February 15, 2011. It's one day after Valentines Day and the week of my birthday. What an exciting Birthday Week I'm gonna have. I love being all "girlie" and getting fussed-over. I'm so excited!!!
The Dress
My first dilemma is finding a dress. As many of you know, I'm dotJenna (a web personality), and I only wear hot pink. Sometimes I wear black, but it's not as good. People who know and watch me like to see me in my signature color: hot pink.
Seems like it would be easy to find a dress in hot pink, right??? WRONG. It's harder than you think. You can find a dress, but then you need it in the right size. This can be time consuming! I won't even go if I can't find the right dress. :)

What's YOUR "Can't Do Without" Beauty Regimen?
Okay, be for real, y'all. I'm sharing my little secret here. Aside from daily brushing and flossing, my one beauty must-have is Proactive. Sounds crazy? Yes, it's true. I'm over 30 and I still get breakouts big time if I don't use the Proactive awesome cleanser.
I've tried many other products, but there is something about Proactive's ingredients that make it work on my face and keep breakouts at bay. The only time I have any issues at all is if I skip (even one day).
Leave me on a deserted island and I will be a fright without Proactive. I'm not being paid to tell you this, I'm just blogging about beauty and thought you'd like to know a great way to keep breakouts out of your life.
What about you? What is one beauty ritual you couldn't do without? What product means the most to your beauty-routine???

My Favorite Foundation | M-A-C Cosmetics
What kind of foundation do you use? I started using Mineralize Satin Finish SPF 15 Foundation by M-A-C a few months ago and I absolutely love it! It's a little thicker going on than the traditional M-A-C foundation, and gives coverage that I find good for making my YouTube Videos. It goes on thicker, but has a light, thin appearance on your face and neck. Smooth and flawless finish. This stuff is like more stiff or something. The coverage is really good without being heavy.
I love it!!! I just use this and the M-A-C under-eye creme and I'm good to go!!!
Just thought you ladies would appreciate a first-hand account of this cool foundation. I'm out right now, so I'm heading to the M-A-C website to get some more... The website rocks. You can see all the color selections and make your purchase right on line! It's only $26.50 + shipping, and it gets delivered to your door! Con-veeen-ient. :)
If you decide to check out this foundation and you love it or hate it, shoot me a comment in the section below or let me know on my Facebook Page. I'd love to know your results, as well as your favorite foundation!!! ~ dotJenna

How to Create Hot Facebook Cameo Profile Pics by dotJenna
Okay, those in my network know that I like snapping shots of myself for uploading to Facebook. Some may consider this odd, but in today's world, it is acceptable and beneficial. It helps me to express myself and share parts of me that were once hidden with all my friends and beyond. It's no different than having a photographer snap your pics and posting them online. While I have a host of photographer friends
who capture sides of me that I never could, I find that I take the very best shots of me myself. Why? Because I'm more relaxed with me, and I can experiment and try out different things to see what works without wasting someone else's time.
Here are my top 10 Secrets for How to Create Hot Facebook Cameo Profile Pics:
1. Get a web cam.
I take all my cameo shots on either my Mac web cam, or before I had my Mac, I would use my Microsoft web cam with my PC. Both work well, and both have different benefits in terms of look, feel and quality.
2. Seize the perfect moment.
You need to look good, but not too over done. The natural look is best for taking shots with your web cam.
3. Get the lighting right.
4. Create the scene.
Remember, what is behind you will show in the photo. Angle the camera and arrange the setting so that what is behind you doesn't compete with you as the focal point.

5. Ready, Aim Shoot
Start taking photos of your lovely self in different angles. Work it! Don't stop with just one stiff angle, but maneuver your hot body around in the chair, or on the floor, or wherever you are in different positions. The face is generally more interesting when it is not shot straight-on, but when the rest of your body is twisted a bit. Don't worry, you can cut out your contorted figure, leaving just your face in the photo... haha Don't stop at 10 or 20 or even 30, keep going and taking different shots. One or more photos are bound to come out right.
6. Review Your Photos
By the time you review the photos, you should be tired, but don't stop now. It's time to go through the photos and find the very best ones for editing. Generally when I do a photo shoot like this, there will be one photo that is simply THE ONE. It's a photo that captures the essence of the shoot, the essence of me, and the essence of the moment in a way that's indescribable. Look for THE ONE, then doctor all the rest.
7. Use photo editing software.
I use free photo editing software such as Picasa as well as Photoshop and iPhoto for editing my photos. When editing
8. Know how to edit.

- Sharpeness
- Definition
- Shadows
- De-noise
- Contrast
9. Upload your pics to Facebook.
10. Post the pic according to your mood.
