Dallas Fraxel: Laser Skin Resurfacing

What is Fraxel? My question exactly. I've heard lots about this facial laser procedure, and I've heard that it works wonders on the face. This article will tell you about Fraxel, and give you some places to get it done. Who knows? I may even get it done with you!!! Please note: I am not a doctor or an expert in this procedure. I'm only providing research obtained from the Fraxel Website and other sources. Please do not take my advice. Research Fraxel for yourself prior to getting the procedure.

According to my research, Fraxel is the brand name for a laser skin resurfacing tool used by physicians to recondition the skin in a safe and non-invasive way. Fraxel treatment allows the true-beauty of your skin to shine through.

Dallas Fraxel Treatment

Fraxel can help you to take years off your appearance in just a few short hours. It helps to rejuvinate aging skin that is damaged from the sun or from life in general. The benefit of Fraxel is its incredibly fast recovery time. You can quickly get a new, younger look without much downtime.

Fraxel can be performed in varying stages, to very aggressive, to mild. The aggressive form of Fraxel treatment can dramatically improve severely damaged skin and requires after procedure wound-care. The milder versions of the Fraxel produces good results in 3-6 treatments and generally requires no after-surgery wound care.

How Fraxel Works

The Fraxel treatment process is much like the process of fixing a digital photo. The skin is treated one tiny section at a time with thousands of microscopic laser columns. These lasers stimulate your body's natural healing process, causing your skin to repair itself from the inside out, replacing damaged tissue with healthier, younger, smoother skin. (Wow!!! Sounds cool, doesn't it???)

The Fraxel treatment works deep in the dermis of the skin, with microscopic lasers in a way that damages the skin.

What Fraxel Treats

In short, Fraxel treatment creates smoother, fresher, healthier and younger-looking skin…improved tone, texture and pore size…and the softening of wrinkles and lines. If you are seeking a doctor to handle your Dallas Fraxel Treatment, please let me know!!!

Fraxel Patient Experience

Fraxel delivers remarkable results with minimal downtime. Treatment takes just a few hours, and downtime varies depending on the level of Dallas Fraxel treatment that you choose.
The Treatment
In an initial consultation, your physician will determine the best Fraxel laser treatment plan for your desired results. Then, when you're ready for treatment, it'll be done right in your physician's office. Here's what happens:

The area of your skin to be treated is thoroughly cleansed.
A topical anesthetic ointment is applied.
About 60 to 90 minutes later, once the anesthetic has taken full effect, treatment begins.
The treatment takes just 20 to 25 minutes for a full face.
Then the anesthetic is completely removed.
See what the treatment looks like.

Now it's time to let the healing process begin, from the inside out. Click the next tab to see what happens after treatment.

After the Treatment

After the procedure, depending on the aggressiveness of your Fraxel treatment, you will have some degree of redness, swelling or a sunburn sensation, which are signs that your body's natural healing process is building new skin from the inside out. You can return to routine activities in as little as one hour or, for more aggressive treatments, as few as a few days.

Other precautions
To protect your skin after treatment, wear sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you're in the sun.

  1. Fraxell.....an unknown treatment for me until I visited my dermatologist to ask him how can I get rid of some acne scars that were bothering me since my youth....

He suggested me the best Fraxel Toronto clinic and of course I followed his advice. The result was amazing: no scars and as a bonus I got rid of wrinkles too, only a few I had around my eyes.

  2. Laser skin resurfacing is being recommended by dermatologists because of its many benefits. If you plan to undergo one yourself, make sure that the dermatologist is credible.
